Reminder - Club Meeting

***CLUB MEETING REMINDER FOR MARCH***
Please note temporary location change:
Our meeting will be held at KC's Country Inn, located at 984 Burton Rd in Vars for this month as our friends and partners at D&S Southern Comfort BBQ are currently undergoing repairs.
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT:
It is with sadness and disgust that I am posting these images. Please see the photos below.
Sometime over the weekend someone deliberately and intentionally destroyed over 25 pickets and signs between the trail intersection of CR100 & CR203 (South of Russel Rd/Carls’ Waste) west to Rockdale Rd.
This individual took it upon themselves to drive over pickets and our destination sign leaving not only a mess, but more importantly a dangerous section of trail and an intersection with no Stop, Stop ahead, or Slow signs. Luckily there was no one hurt as a result of this persons actions.
Several hours were spent trying to get pickets into the frozen ground and trying to straighten out our destination sign.
It is always the actions of few that ruin it for so many. This cost our club in materials (26 pickets plus a metal sign post) & time in the middle of a work day to repair this damage quickly so to keep this trail safe and clearly marked for all riders to enjoy.
To the guilty party or parties – shame on you.
